I didn't use Crayons or Colored Pencils for shading - Hand Embroidery only & it came out beautiful

Pattern shows Prismacolor Colored Pencils used for shading - again I just did the embroidery

It's a good project for those new to embroidery - Stitches are Lazy Daisies, French Knots & Backstitch
